As founder of Causam Enterprises, he has led the creation and protection of one of the industry’s most comprehensive patent portfolios focused on distributed energy, grid intelligence, and real-time financial settlement systems.
Having founded multiple successful firms in energy, consulting, and technology, Joe has built a reputation for transforming technical innovation into commercial results. His leadership reflects deep experience in communications infrastructure, IP strategy, and business model innovation.

Jeff Ronaldi
Board Member | Technology & Intellectual Property Strategy

Jeff Ronaldi brings over 25 years of leadership in technology and communications with deep expertise in intellectual property development and monetization. As former Chairman and CEO of Document Security Systems (NYSE: DSS), he guided IP-driven growth through licensing and commercialization initiatives.
Earlier in his career, Jeff held key roles at UUNET Technologies and Concentric Networks, both of which went public and were later acquired by Verizon. He has since founded and advised multiple ventures that have generated more than $500 million in enterprise value.
Jeff’s experience in IP strategy, commercialization, and business value creation aligns closely with Causam Enterprises’ focus on protecting and monetizing innovation.

Jim Bennett
Board Member | Infrastructure & Entrepreneurial Leadership

Jim Bennett brings more than 30 years of executive and entrepreneurial experience across the real estate, construction, and telecommunications industries. He has founded and led over ten successful ventures spanning manufacturing and property development, demonstrating a strong ability to build and scale operationally sound enterprises.
Before joining Causam Enterprises, Jim held senior leadership roles with BellSouth Mobility and Nextel Communications in South Florida and later founded Galaxy Site Services, a leading telecommunications infrastructure firm.
Jim’s entrepreneurial insight and operational expertise strengthen Causam’s mission to advance and protect innovation through its extensive patent portfolio.
